Complimentary wi-fi is available during your stay. To connect, select the “Study_Guest” network and enter the password listed on your key card envelope.

Check-In & Check-Out
Check-in begins at 4:00 pm and check-out by 11:00 am. If you need additional time, please contact Guest Services. 

Dining
Nestled in the lower level of our hotel, Dear Charles is open seven days a week for breakfast, lunch, and dinner with walk-ins and reservations welcome. Click here for more information.

Room Service

Fitness Center
The fitness center is located on the third floor and is open 24 hours.  Use your room key to gain access.

Housekeeping
Please contact Guest Services for additional towels and amenities or for trash removal.  Housekeeping service is available upon request until 3pm daily.

In-Room Safe
Press the ‘#’ button on the lower left-hand side of the keypad to reset the password.
Enter a four-digit password into the keypad and press the ‘Lock/Close’ button on the lower right-hand side of the keypad. The safe is now locked.
To unlock the safe, enter your four-digit password. The safe will automatically unlock and the door should open.

Laundry & Dry Cleaning
A laundry bag and accompanying form are located in each guestroom closet. Laundry left at the front desk the night prior will be returned the next day. Laundry left at the front desk after 8:00 am will be returned the following day after 7:00 pm. No laundry or dry-cleaning service is available on Sundays or holidays.

Smoking & Vaping
The hotel is a non-smoking and non-vaping property. Smoking in your guestroom will result in a $250 cleaning fee that will be charged to the credit card on file for your reservation.

Safety & Security
Your safety and security are of the utmost importance to us. The hotel maintains a 24-hour security and management team. If you need any assistance during your stay, please call Guest Services by dialing 0 and someone will be dispatched to assist you.
For ambulance or police, dial 911. Know where the nearest stairwell and exit are located. Behind the door to your room, you will find a map with your location and all exits. Remember to safeguard your room key, double lock your door, and use the peephole before opening.

Fire Safety
In the event of a fire emergency, you will hear the fire alarm sound. Please remain calm, follow the instructions located on the back of your guestroom door and proceed down the stairs. Do not use the elevator. All hotel guests will be directed to (The Steinwald House) 3211 N. Charles Street. out front and to the left.
If you are in your room, test the door with the back of your hand to make sure the door is not hot. If hot, do not exit. Stay in your room, call Guest Services by dialing 0 or 410-243-0030 and report your room number.
If unable to utilize stairs, please also call Guest Services and security will provide assistance. If smoke enters your room, seal the door by placing wet towels or sheets at the bottom of the door.
